Former UP chief minister and Jan Kranti Party president Kalyan Singh on Saturday released the second list of 51 candidates for 2012 assembly elections.

LUCKNOW: Former UP chief minister and Jan Kranti Party president Kalyan Singh on Saturday released the second list of 51 candidates for 2012 assembly elections.
With this the total number of candidates finalised by the party has reached 159. Singh announced that the campaign for the elections would formally begin from Ayodhya after Ram Lalla's darshan.

On the occasion, he also said that BJP leader LK Advani should also be charge-sheeted in the cash-for-vote scam. He said that both Advani and his former aide Sudheendra Kulkarni were involved in the scam, which was given a cover up of sting operation. Raising question over Advani's Jan Chetna Yatra over corruption, he said, "BJP is neck deep in corruption and had no moral right to raise the issue." He opposed separate quota for backward Muslims saying it was against the Constitution. "We want justice for all, but appeasement of none," he said. tnn
